A two or three day a week program is sufficient for this age. (However, those in our childcare program are in this class 5 days a week.) Our busy toddlers have opportunities for exercise, large and small muscle development, exploring, social interaction and enhancement of communication and self-help skills. Children learn words and concepts such as colors, shapes and sizes through guided play and sensory activities. They participate in stories, songs, art experiences, imaginative play, sign language and games to promote social development, intellectual ability, language development and communication, as well as self-help skills.
